The goal of MAAIC is to educate people about and preserve the heritage of the American Indian. This wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our community. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is appreciated and helps us achieve our goals. Monetary donations help fund our educational and outreach programs. This, of course, allows us to teach our community about a tradition-rich and diverse culture.
Any gifts in the form of art, instruments or other items, is reviewed by our museum director. Please call or email to set up an appointment to allow enough time for the item to be thoroughly examined. The item may then go for consideration to our museum committee, who meets four times a year. Not every piece will be added to the museum collection. Some items may be used in our educational programs or for hands-on activities.
