The Indian Museum offers educational field trips for area students which allow for an engaging and hands-on learning experience. Students will learn about the culture and heritage of American Indians. The tour features interactive learning about the meaning of heritage and totem poles, our outdoor exhibits and Keeper of the Plains Plaza (weather permitting) and an in-depth educational session inside the museum takes about 1.5 hours. The added craft will require an additional 30 minutes.
When booking for a group of 10 or more people, we always offer free admission for one teacher per classroom and one bus driver. If your group is tax-exempt, please bring a copy of your tax-exempt letter as proof of status.
Field trips may be scheduled Tuesday through Friday with two weeks advanced notification. Minimum number of students required is 10.
