2010 PowWows

The Mid-America All-Indian Center hosts several PowWows throughout the year. We would like to invite you to enjoy each of the events listed below.

39th Annual PowWow: July 31-Aug. 1, 2010
Nearly 7,000 people attended the Mid-America All-Indian Center's Powwow July 31-Aug. 1 to enjoy all the singing, dancing, shopping and food the cultural event had to offer.  More than 80 dancers -- tiny tots to adults -- competed in different categories and a new Princess was crowned who will represent the Indian Center at other powwows in the region. The best part about the two-day gathering was that it gave American Indians an opportunity to share their culture with the general public to build appreciation and awareness about their history. photo gallery
